The Melbourne launch of Jenny Macklin’s Making Progress: How Good Policy Happens was held at the Cinema Nova last night.

It was a great night.

Cinema 8 was packed with policy wonks eager to hear Jenny talk in depth about Australia’s big policy challenges with the Chifley Research Centre’s Emma Dawson. Notable political attendees included Federal Housing Minister Clare O’Neil, Federal Member for Jagajaga Kate Thwaites, former Deputy Prime Minister Brian Howe, former Foreign Affairs Minister Gareth Evans, former Deputy Premier John Thwaites, and former state Disability Services Minister Mary Wooldridge.
